Coywolf Infographic

This editorial infographic (information graphic) was designed for screen-display only, to be viewed on a scrolling website page. I chose coywolves as my subject matter due to their unexpected habitats (existing within ravines and forested areas even within city limits) and intriguing origins. I focused on key aspects of the debated species, delving into their origins, physiology, behavior, and habitat.

Unconventional blocks of colour were used, alternating between horizontal, vertical, and curved elements in order to allow for the design to flow and naturally draw your eye through the piece. Cool unsaturated teals provide for optimal contrast with vibrant red-oranges, giving the infographic an eye-catching quality.

The icons of the three canines, skulls, and silhouettes were created by me via vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator CC.
